I'm Nikoo. I run three restaurants around here, I'm a husband and a dad of two, and I write a newsletter called Dads Just Wanna Have Fun, about things to do with your kids in and around Hamilton that are not boring for dads. I love taking my kids to indoor playgrounds but they got about 45 mins (was 90 mins) to play before I want to shoot myself from boredom.
I started building AI tools partially from curiosity, to see how I can actually make these crazy tools work for me. I've spent hours banging my head against the wall trying to figure out why tools were breaking while everyone online was bragging about how AI does everything for them. Spoiler alert, it doesn't. AI should be looked at as a tool, not a replacement for humans. AI only goes 90% of the way, the rest needs an actual human.
So amongst other things, I built a voice AI receptionist for my own restaurants. Then I made tools for my wife who is a realtor here in Hamilton. Then friends in other businesses started asking questions because it all sounds so intimidating, and that's where Answerly Labs came from.
